Sarah L. Swisher, University of Minnesota
Electrical and Computer Engineering
Sarah L. Swisher received her BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2004. Upon graduation, Sarah spent several years as the lead electrical design engineer for a series of GPS-enabled bicycle computers at Garmin. She received her MS and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley in 2012 and 2015, respectively. She joined the Electrical & Computer Engineering department at the University of Minnesota in 2015. Her research is focused on the synthesis, characterization, and applications of solution processed electronic materials for flexible electronics. Swisher has been awarded the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship, the UC Berkeley Graduate Division Mentored Research Fellowship, the Intel Foundation Noyce Memorial Fellowship in Microelectronics, and the UC Berkeley EECS Chair’s Excellence Award.
